Average rating of 5/5 Economical, Easy to Manage, 2010-06-10
Some may prefer a modern stylish fan with fancy functions such as remote control.
To me, practical will be more essential!

Apparantly, this fan does not have any high-tec features such as remote control, timer...it is just a classic fan!
However, as I used this fan in my bed-room, I don't need all the unnecessary features.
In additional, aside the extreme afternoon weathers in Summer, you may not need a fan in most other occassion in UK, so no point spending too much cash onto it!

It is easy to set up the fan, you can easily recognise where each parts should belongs too (I personally find the menu not too friendly), but I fixed it without looking at it, it took me around 15mins to get it done!

There is one huge benefit why I will recommend this fan rather than those that looks stylish and claim to be quiet or whatsoever, after few weeks, you will find those fans are trapped with dusts and there is no way you can clean it (unless you dismantle it), and when you switch to maximum power, you find dust begin to blow out! I am sure you do not want that to happen!

With this classic design fan, all you need is to remove the metal frame and clean with a piece of cloth! All it take is just couple of min to enjoy some dustless wind for your room!

Average rating of 4/5 Good Quality and Effective, 2010-01-11
Fast delivery , easily assembled , quieter than I expected and on level 2/3 it does exactly what I wanted ...a really cold blast while I am sweating on an indoor bicycle traing session

Seems well made, only slight issue is that the metal feet are a bit lightweight , could do with being be a bit sturdier there

Average rating of 4/5 Stand up fan., 2010-06-23
This fan is ok but it's not quite as quiet as my last one. Even on the lowest setting it is still quite loud in a small bedroom.
But it certainly moves a lot of air around.

Average rating of 3/5 Igenix fan, 2010-07-02
This fan is good once you get it set up - quiet, wide field of oscillation and reasonably priced. However, it is let down by the appalling instruction manual (effectively one side of A5) which simply shows some of the components with no guide as to how to assemble them. Some of the parts in my box were already put together but in the wrong order, so I had to take each one apart before I started assembly.

Well worth a buy if you're looking for a cheap, quiet office fan, just be prepared for half an hour faffing about with assembly.

Average rating of 5/5 Very quiet good value fan, 2010-07-29
I purchased the the Igenix 16" Oscillating Pedestal Fan based on reviews and I had read from previous customers and was very please to find that it was very quiet and easy to put together! I would highly recommend this fan, especially for those looking for a quiet fan to keep on at night while you are sleeping and keep you cool. Good value for the money as well.
