The clip is really strong, more than enough to support the fan. It rotates almost 360 degrees. Sound is unnoticeable; great for small spaces.

This seems a decent enough fan, and the clip is particularly strong. The control knob on the back is a bit difficult to grip and turn and - depending on the location of the fan (mine is on a shelf attached to a wall) can be awkward to reach. We have some larger fans about the house and I suppose I should have known better than to expect anything like the airflow from a 12" fan - it is much less and, frankly, it's only acceptably effective if you're reasonably close to it. So, if this is the case, then I would say go ahead and buy it. But if you're expecting it to move air around anything but the smallest of rooms, go for something bigger and more powerful.

Fan didn't work second time I tried it. Willing to try replacement, contacted the seller Premier Products three times via email, never got a reply. Went through Amazon's complaint procedure; received a refund from them (great service as usual); no explanation about Premier Products.

i found the fan impossible to position using the screw-knobs as they are not strong enough to hold the heavy fan head up, and it slowly moves downwards until it's pointing at the ground! i had to use gaffa tape to hold them up! gaffa tape fixes everything.
