 Great Fan, 2005-07-13
I brought this fan for my grandad as it is remote control. The fan is very mordern looking and is definitely worth the money, I would definitely recommend this fan as it has everything and looks much better than the traditional fan. Top product!!!!

The fan does exactly what it says it will and the remote control is an excellent additional touch to the item. The assembly of the fan when first receiving it seemed very unnecessary. The base of the unit (the stand) comes in 4 sections through which the power cable is run. These are clipped together and screwed in, it seemed to me that if the box (packaging)had been made slightly bigger this wouldnt have been necessary and I wouldnt have had to turn fan upside down and snap the protective cover off of the top. (Doh)Also the plastic casing makes it feel cheap and flimsy, this coupled with the assembly requirement loses it a star in my rating. Otherwise this is a good, stylish fan which does its job very well.
quiet ,efficient fan, 2005-07-21
This fan is easy to put together . The instructions could be easier to read but that is my only quibble . It is very quiet and cools my living room [ 17'0"x10'6"x8'0"high] . You feel the cool air the minute you switch it on and the whole room feels cooler in about 10 - 20 minutes depending on how hot it is .
It is light enough to carry from room to room and fits into a small space . Unlike some traditional fans the cool air does not create a cold draught so it would be very useful for the elderly or sick . Also useful in this respect is the remote control .
I would have preferred white or cream for the colour but I can live with grey .
