Following a recent back injury I found it difficult to hold my petrol hedge cutter due to its weight. So I thought If I bought a decent pair of shears I could cut a little at a time. However these Spear & Jackson shears are so light and easy to use and very sharp (not for children to have)that I had the hedge cut in almost the same time as it would have taken with my petrol cutter. Also the cut was much cleaner no fuzzy stalks left. Perfect for all types of hedging.
