Average rating of 5/5 Excellent fan, comapct, quiet but powerful, 2009-10-09
I needed a small fan to take on a trip to France, as the place we stay has no air con. I wanted something portable, but still effective.

This has doen the job perfectly. It is well made, and the clip is very strong, so was easy to find somewhere to position the fan. it has two speed settings, and is fairly quiet on both. It does keep things cool in a room, by moving a significant amount of air for its size.

Very impressive, expecially at the price.

Average rating of 5/5 Great fan for small room or situated close to user, 2010-07-23
I was having trouble getting my employer to provide a fan for my oven-like office, so was looking for something that I could use then store away when not needed. This is ideal - powerful enough to give a decent amount of directed cooling although not enough to actively cool the room on a very hot day. The clip is very strong & gives a secure grip onto a desk edge. I tried clipping it to the front edge of my desk, with fan about 2' away but that was too cool so I have it about 7' away and that is perfect. Oscillation would be nice, but not a major problem. I thought about taking this on holiday to Italy, but with luggage weight limits and the choice of fan or shoes.... well you know how it goes!

I have the fan running for several hours at a time: it runs smoothly and is pretty quiet. The angle and direction are easily adjustable.

Average rating of 5/5 FAN-tastic!!!, 2010-07-24
This is the best little fan I have ever bought.Silent and strong.I love it.
I bought myself a similar fan in Texas in 2005,it wasn't as cool as this one!

Average rating of 1/5 Doesn't work, 2009-10-19
This fan is really not powerful enough to be worth using. I read one review saying this but thought the other good reviews outweighed this. I don't know if just some of them don't work properly, but the one I had barely moved the air around, even on the highest setting. Am returning for a refund.

Average rating of 5/5 Perfect for work, 2010-03-27
Clips easily on the side of my desk (I didn't want a large desk standing one). I have only used it on the lowest setting so far and it's great. Quiet too.
Very quick delivery.
