The magnetic tag sticks to oven trays and the oven when you're trying to take hot items out the oven. The plastic surrounding the magnet then melts!! need I say more. Apart from the fact they don't protect your hands for very long before you feel the heat through them.

I stuck to a cream, white and oak kitchen so that I could add lots of splashes of colour and this set fits into that scheme perfectly. I have the oven glove and the matching tea towels. The colours are beautiful, the quality is really good and I've washed them plenty of times with great results. The only thing I would change is the magnet stitched into the glove. It's not strong enough to pin the glove to anything and as I hang it on my oven rail it means the magnet catches on the oven door. But that wouldn't put me off buying another set.
