The durability of these butterfly houses seems to be a bit hit and miss. I have one and I bought others for my sister and my mother-in-law. While theirs still both look fairly good, mine has faded and warped quite badly and the lovely butterfly symbol on the front has cracked and peeled away. Even the little viewing window has become opaque.

I am afraid to say also that none of them has attracted any butterflies to move in...

Its a lovely idea and we have all now left them up for around 3 years in the hope that this year the box will be weathered and natural enough for a passing butterfly to think its a des-res....but no luck so far. :(

Looks pretty in the garden though!

Solidly engineered, does what expected had to fight my FiL for control of it. Saved hours of back breaking work, not as good as an iPOD but better than a Blackberry !

I purchased this to rid my patio of all the debris (including some motar) between the flags that had been laid for a couple of years in order to have them pointed up properly. It has certainly stood up to alot of hard work and can strongly recommend this as a great hard wearing tool.

I was sceptical after having other covers which bust up within days but this one is good and strong and the velcor tapes for fastening to the frame are a good idea. I think it is a very good product for the money and fitted well over the frame without having to pull it hard. As these covers all deteriorate over time only wish i had gotton two at the price i paid for it. Well worth it if you have these mini greenhouses.
